Bunmi Babatunde

In addition to several certificates of recognition from around the globe, Babatunde (b. 1957) was one of 65 leaders selected from 35 developing countries all over the world for an Advanced Leadership Training Course of the Haggai Institute in Singapore in 2003 and was invited to the Nanjing Normal University, China as a guest lecturer in December 2007.

Having participated in over 30 exhibitions at home and abroad, Babatunde has produced works for both public and private collections. With his remarkable talent and craftsmanship he has caught the eye of collectors, tastemakers and the art society. Through his elongated and elegant large-scale sculptures he explores the human possibility and demonstrates an abstract geometry of human motion. His highly sought after unique pieces in wood, bronze resin and fibreglass have earned him national and international private and corporate collectors.
