AABRU ART’S Pop up exhibition - Transcending Boundaries showcased 50 works of art from around 21 Nigerian artists. The venue was The Gallery In Cork Street, 28 Cork Street, London W1S 3NG.
The first pop up gallery of its kind in London, Transcending Boundaries displayed exceptional contemporary art from West Africa. Aabru Art works closelywith a small group of artists who create amazing, highly sought after works of art. The works of these masters have been exhibited across Africa, and indeed the world. A variety of phenomenal works by these artists were featured at Bonham’s Africa Now auction in May 2012.
The pop up exhibition Transcending Boundaries featured works by AbiodunOlaku, Alex Nwokolo, Ben Osaghae, BunmiBabatunde, EdosaOgiugo, Fidelis EzeOdogwu, TayoQuaye, Reuben Ugbine, and many more amazing artists from Nigeria. The launch was in the evening of the 4th of February 2013 and featured the fabulous DJ Peter Adjaye.
